Marine Helicopter Crash Near Yuma Arizona Leaves 7 Dead

In a tragic military training exercise, two Marine helicopters collided mid-air killing 7 Marines near Yuma, Arizona.  The helicopters were the AH-1W and the UH-1, known as the Cobra and Huey respectively.

The service members were stationed at Camp Pendleton and were part of a training session; the crash occurred at approximately 8p.m.   The names of those killed have not yet been released and an investigation is ongoing.
