Las Vegas Helicopter Tour Crash; Five People Dead

In Las Vegas, Nevada tonight, a tragic helicopter crash left all passengers and the pilot dead while on a typical sunset tour of the Vegas strip and neighboring Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.

A total of five people were killed while aboard the Aerospatiale AS350 Helicopter which is owned and operated by Sundance Helicopters Company; a tour company based out of Las Vegas that does helicopter tours as a routine part of their business.

The AE350 is a popular helicopter made in France and sold to many US tour operators. The Franecke Law Group has successfully sued AE many times for defects in their products.

This is not the first time that Sundance Helicopters has had a tragic helicopter crash.  In 2003, a Sundance helicopter crashed in Arizona leaving six passengers and a pilot dead after the cause of crash was pilot’s unsafe procedures.

The Franecke Law Group is a nationwide aviation law firm focused on investigating and representing families of aviation disaster victims, it is critical that a proper investigation be done immediately in order to preserve important evidence and make the necessary initial steps to protect those involved.
